Blue Wave Inn
A coastal district stay between galleries and the water.

What We Love
Blue Wave Inn
Rockport is one of those Texas coast towns that still lets the day happen slowly. Mornings start with coffee and a walk toward Aransas Bay, afternoons shift between galleries, shrimp baskets, and salt air, and by evening the town reads local again. The Cultural Arts District gives the place a polish most beach towns never quite develop, and the bay still carries the working-harbor light Texas painters have followed since the 1940s. Blue Wave Inn sits in that overlap. We are grateful to look after a stay that lets you stay close to both rhythms at once: the artful one and the barefoot one.
Stays in Blue Wave Inn
Blue Wave keeps the room mix clean and useful: six room types across the inn's three levels, from easy king rooms for quick coastal escapes to kitchen suites for longer weekends and a Jacuzzi suite for something more celebratory. Every room type connects to the live booking engine, where current dates and availability are shown in real time.

The Destination
A Gulf Coast Art Town That Still Knows the Water
Rockport's rare appeal is that it never asks you to choose between culture and coastline. The blocks around Austin Street are working-gallery, working-restaurant, real-town streets, and Rockport Beach remains one of the most gracious public beaches on the Texas coast.
Blue Wave Inn sits in that overlap, near the Cultural Arts District and within easy reach of the bayfront. Guests settle into a lighter pace here: a slow breakfast, a gallery or bookshop, beach hour, then oysters or redfish as the light softens. It is a coast town that still feels lived in rather than staged for visitors, and the inn is positioned to keep both rhythms close at hand.
